CPAC Video Highlights Langley Election Races

The video, created by the Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC), covers two key federal election battles unfolding here in Langley.

In Cloverdale–Langley City, incumbent Conservative Tamara Jansen, elected in a landslide in the 2024 by-election, is challenged by Liberal candidate Kyle Latchford, New Democrat Vanessa Sharma, and the Green Party’s Kevin Daniel Wilkie.

Over in Abbotsford–South Langley, the departure of long-time MP Ed Fast has opened the door for 25-year-old political newcomer Sukhman Gill, whose Conservative nomination has stirred controversy. After being passed over by the party, former BC MLA Mike de Jong is now running as an Independent.

The video also introduces the other candidates in the riding: Liberal Kevin Gillies, NDP’s Dharmasena Yakandawela, and Green candidate Melissa Snazell.
