Welcome to the Langley Union!

We're excited to introduce ourselves as a new source for local news, bringing together stories from both the Township of Langley and the City of Langley.

While these two municipalities might not agree on everything—especially when it comes to amalgamation—we decided that local news doesn’t have to follow suit. Langley Union was born from our commitment to serve all of Langley, no boundaries attached!

Our mission is to provide residents with timely, independent reporting on everything that matters locally. From municipal politics and community events to arts, culture, and sports, Langley Union will strive to be your go-to source for what’s happening in and around our community. Our team of local journalists is committed to offering transparent, reliable coverage of the issues that impact daily life in Langley.

Right now, we’re still setting things up and putting the pieces in place, but we’re working hard to become a regular fixture in your news routine. Soon, you can expect frequent updates on everything from council decisions and new developments to local festivals and neighborhood highlights. We’re excited to build this resource alongside you, and we hope it quickly becomes an essential part of your day.

As we get started, all of our articles and newsletters will be available to everyone at no cost. This is something that we hope to continue forever. Putting local news behind paywalls does a significant disservice to the community.
